About Us
Northern Power Services (NPS) is a locally owned and operated Darwin Electrical Contracting business established in Darwin in 1995, owned and operated by Gordon Jabour. Gordon has over 30 years’ experience as an electrician and having worked on many large projects throughout the Territory, he has developed a vast knowledge of High and Low voltage reticulation.
Employing around 20 locally based staff (and upwards depending on seasonal fluctuations), the business head office is centrally located in the industrial suburb of Holtze in a brand new purpose built facility incorporating office areas and workshop.
The NPS Management Team has a broad range of experience, skills and qualifications to ensure that each and every client receives absolutely first class workmanship. In addition to the Industry trades and qualifications the various members of the Management team hold Nationally Recognised qualifications in areas such as Environmental Management, WHS, Training and Assessment, Frontline Management, Business, Human Resources, Bookkeeping and Accounting just to name a few.
When required, NPS also has a team of trusted advisors, consultants and subcontractors on hand to maintain the high standard of service that NPS has become known for. Committed to supporting the local Darwin community, NPS supports the development of Young Territorians by offering part time, full time and school based apprenticeships and NPS is proud to have supported Charitable organisations such as Camp Quality, The Variety Club, local sporting teams and many others.
